Dr. Jessie Zoorkan originates from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she completed her dental education at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. Earning accolades such as the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontic Award, the American Academy of General Dentistry Award, and the Western Canada Dental Society Dr. Cal Waddell Memorial Scholarship, Dr. Zoorkan's dedication to her craft is evident.
Following graduation, she immersed herself in a year-long internship with the General Practice Residency Program at Royal University Hospital and the U of S, refining her skills by treating head and neck cancer patients, medically complex patients, sedation dentistry, and patients with special needs, both in clinical and hospital settings. With a passion for cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery, Dr. Zoorkan excels in transforming smiles and enhancing the oral health of her patients.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she cherishes moments spent at the lake with her husband and sons.
Originating from Saskatoon, SK, Dr. Lisa Bachiu practices general dentistry, specializing in airway and children's dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science Honours in Chemistry and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Driven by a passion for understanding the connection between oral health and overall well-being, Dr. Bachiu focuses on airway dentistry, emphasizing the importance of addressing lip and tongue ties. She collaborates closely with myofunctional therapists and lactation specialists to provide comprehensive care, particularly for infants and children.
Finding dentistry's evolution endlessly intriguing, Dr. Bachiu views each day as an opportunity for growth. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, and spending quality time with her husband, Josh, and their beloved cats.
Dr. Friesen grew up in Saskatoon, SK, and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Pharmacology and Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Saskatchewan before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2026.
Dr. Friesen enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to providing comfortable, personalized care for every patient. She is passionate about helping patients feel informed and confident in their dental care and offers nitrous sedation to help patients who experience dental anxiety feel more relaxed during treatment. She especially values building long-term relationships with patients and families of all ages and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in their oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Friesen lives just outside Saskatoon with her husband, Bailey, and their dog, Mona. She enjoys running, playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places. She has a passion for learning and is always looking for opportunities to grow her knowledge and skills, both personally and professionally.
